History

GIC acquired Chifley Tower and Plaza in May 2005. Chifley Tower is managed by Jones Lang LaSalle and Chifley Plaza is managed by Ipoh Management Services Pty Ltd. Facilities for both the Plaza and the Tower is jointly managed by Jones Lang LaSalle.

In 2007, a minor refurbishment was completed. The refurbishment was undertaken to increase the gross lettable area (GLA) of the food court, to improve the quality and quantity of the food tenancies and to introduce new design features to improve overall centre ambience. Contrasting materials were introduced, marble structures were removed or reduced in order to increase sight lines into tenancies and new retail windows were inserted. A tenancy remix was completed as part of the refurbishment with the introduction of a number of new retailers.

Key retailers include MaxMara, Marina Rinaldi, Crabtree & Evelyn, Max&Co, R.M. Williams and designer fashion from Pierucci, Herringbone, Leona Edmiston, Oxford, Varese Shoes, Mimco and Witchery.
